Terms of Use — MyMood
Effective date: 28 June 2026
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) form an agreement between you and Avi Shwartz (“we,” “us,” “our”) for the app MyMood (the “App”). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
1. License
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for your own personal, non-commercial use on devices you own or control. You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, resell, or distribute the App except as permitted by law or your app store.
2. Not medical or mental-health advice
MyMood is a personal mood-tracking and journaling tool for general well-being and self-reflection. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical, psychological, or mental-health advice, diagnosis, or treatment. It is not a substitute for professional care. If you are struggling or in crisis, please contact a qualified health professional or your local emergency or crisis services. Never disregard professional advice because of something you read or recorded in the App.
3. Your data is your responsibility
The App stores your data only on your device and does not back it up to any server. You are responsible for your device and your data. Clearing the App’s data, uninstalling the App, or losing your device or app-lock code will permanently erase your entries, and we cannot recover them.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to reverse-engineer, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App, and to use it only as permitted by law.
5. Intellectual property
The App — including its code, design, graphics, and name — is owned by us and protected by law. These Terms do not transfer any ownership to you.
6. Disclaimers
The App is provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE,” without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or always available.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, including any loss of data. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the App (if any).
8. App stores
You also agree to the terms of the store you downloaded the App from (such as Google Play).
9. Termination
We may suspend or end your access if you breach these Terms. You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it.
10. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. We will update the “Effective date” and post the new version at this URL. Continued use means you accept the changes.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
